Technology for Non Profits

Tech Soup – A technology information center containing a vast amount of tech based white papers, advice etc. Tech Soup provides a vehicle for purchasing commonly needed software applications at a heavily discounted cost via their Tech Soup Stock program.

 

Non Profit Technology Network – A technology information site focusing on online training, blogging, webcasting, professional development advocacy and more.

 

idealware.org – A technology information site focusing on reviews, information and monthly news about non-profit software.

 

Google for Non Profits – A recent program for non profits offering an array of free tools. Features include standard Google services such as Gmail (including hosted email), YouTube, Blogger, Gadgets, Earth, Calendar and Analytics. The two interesting services are the provision of Google Checkout for free to non-profits who want to take donations on their site, and Google Grants, free advertising for non-profits via Google’s Adwords network.
