Chief Financial Officer

Hours: Full Time/Flexible Hours

Salary Range: 90,000 – 115,000

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Chief Finance Officer will implement the infrastructure and systems needed to support the organization’s strategic objectives and evolving role as an intermediary organization. S/he will be responsible for the oversight of administrative and financial systems, including finance, accounting, information technology, facilities management, and physical infrastructure. As a member of the senior management team, s/he will be involved in a range of strategic planning and internal initiatives.

S/he will work closely with the Executive Director and the senior management team in developing the organization’s strategic plan.The Chief Finance Officer will act as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors’ Finance / HR Committee, working closely with the Committee to strengthen the organization’s financial position and other items as required. S/he will continually evaluate best industry practices in comparison to internal systems and needed resources, with an eye toward both future needs and budget realities.

Children Services Manager

Responsible for planning and implementation of program/agency
requirements, goals, policies and procedures in assigned programmatic areas for Head Start and Early
Head Start. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the education requirements of the Performance

INFANT / TODDLER PRIMARY CARE GIVER TEACHER

Floating Classroom Assistant

Center Director

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

Under the direction of the Area or Site Supervisor, administer a Head Start center operation guided by Head Start Performance Standards, Service Area Written Plans, Procedures, and Policies and California State Community Care Licensing regulations. Supervises the following staff: Teacher II, Teacher 1, Site Assistant, and if assigned: Language Resource Aide and Full Inclusion Assistant. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Agency’s policies and applicable federal and state laws.

ECE Childcare Provider/AVANCE/VIA ESPERANZA
