The Roseland Children's Health Center provides health care services to children from birth through early adolescence when accompanied by their parent or guardian. Patient fees are determined on a sliding fee scale basis. Medi-Cal, CHDP, Healthy Families, California Kids, and Partnership Health Plan insurance programs are also accepted. No child is ever turned away due to his/her family's inability to pay. Health Services

Meredith Kieschnick, MD, is the medical director of the Health Center. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1981 with honors in Biology, and received her MD from the University of California Davis Medical School in 1986. She completed a three year residency in Pediatrics at Oakland Children's Hospital in 1989 and received an additional year of training in adolescent health issues at the Fremont High School Tiger Medics Clinic in East Oakland. She is board-certified in pediatrics. Dr. Kieschnick is committed to providing high-quality care to all children, particularly medically under-served populations. She was trained in Boston by Dr. T. Berry Brazelton in the Touchpoints model of care, and is currently a trainer and teacher of the Touchpoints philosophy to other providers in Sonoma County. Elisabeth Chicoine, PNP, is a Masters-prepared Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and serves as Clinic Director and a health care provider. She graduated from the University of California at San Francisco School of Nursing in 1978 with a BS in Nursing and again in 1984 with an MS in Nursing and PNP certificate. She has provided nursing care to under-served children in a variety of community settings for over 20 years and is co-founder of the Roseland Children's Health Center.

Colleen Meseroll, PNP, is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and serves as a primary health care provider at the Health Center. She graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Nursing in 1974 with a PNP certificate and is board certified by NAPNAP. She received her undergraduate Nursing Diploma from the University of Albuquerque in New Mexico. She has worked with children in a variety of health care settings for over 20 years.

Ariane Baerlocher-Rosen, PNP, is a Masters prepared Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is a primary health care provider at the Health Center. She received her specialty training in Pediatrics in 1984 with a Diploma from the school of Nursing at Childrens Hospital Zurich in Switzerland. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a BS in Nursing in 1990 and received her graduate degree from the University of California in San Francisco in 1995. She has worked in a variety of health care settings in different countries and is very dedicated in her work with under-served and multi-cultural children. She is a fluent speaker in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Swiss-German languages.

Kim Hansen, PNP, is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and serves as the immunization clinic coordinator and a primary health care provider. She graduated from the University of California, San Francisco in 2000 with an MS in Nursing and her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certificate. She received her undergraduate nursing education at Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University. She also provides services to infants and toddlers in the Early Head Start program, and recently completed her lactation Counselor certification.

Irma Oregon is a certified medical assistant and serves as the clinic manager. She is also responsible for case management, referral processes, and health education. She is fluently bilingual (Spanish and English) and has many years experience working with children.

Lilia Huermo is our clinic receptionist and oversees medical records as well. She is dedicated to working with children and families in the community and has experience working in preschool and daycare settings.

Stephanie Macabeo is our Medical Biller. She graduated from the Boston Reed Medical Billing Program. She became an expert in understanding billing issues for the myriad health insurance programs for children.

Luisa Ramirez is one of our bilingual medical assistants. She has several years of experience as a medical assistant in community clinic settings and coordinates our immunization program.

Silvia Santiago is one of our bilingual medical assistants. She recently completed her medical assistant program at Santa Rosa Junior College.
