Bilingual VITA Program Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-Time, Short-term, 30 hrs/week November-April (some evenings required)

Summary of Position

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of activities and provide administrative support for the Earn It, Keep It, Save It – VITA free tax assistance program. Coordinator will oversee support staff and volunteer staff in the delivery of services. Assist in the maintenance of program documentation, administrative/program support systems, both technical and manual, working independently and cooperatively with frequent interruptions and minimal supervision within the assigned program.

Bilingual Dental Program Assistant / Community Health Worker I

Employment Type: Part Time 18 hrs. /week

Summary of Position

Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County is a non-profit agency whose mission is to partner with low-income families and individuals to help them achieve economic and social stability, to build community, and to advocate for social and economic justice. It has been operating for over 40 years, and is a stable employer. Community Action Partnership operates several community health programs including: the School Health program at several elementary, middle and high schools in the Santa Rosa area; clinical consultations and support services for Head Start, Early Head Start and School Readiness Programs; Oral Health programs, Certified Enrollment Counselors and the Healthy Communities community-wide outreach and promotion programs. All of these programs work together to reduce the prevalence of health disparities among low-income children and families living in impoverished communities. They play an integral role in promoting optimal health and healthy behaviors to support children’s capacity for learning and later success in school.

Children’s Services Mentor/ Coach

Employment Type: 40 hours/week, 12 Months/Year

Summary of Position

To assist in the implementation and monitoring of Head Start/Early Head Start services, providing compliance with Head Start/EHS performance standards and the current work plans. Curriculum Supervisor

Employment Type: : 40 hours per week/ Full Time

Summary of Position

Under direction of Assistant Director, ensures the implementation of curriculum fidelity for the Head Start and Early Head Start programs in compliance with ACF Performance Standards, the Service Area Written Plans, and California State Licensing regulations. Monitor and train to assure that program is providing high quality and child development services for all children enrolled in program including children with disabilities to promote cognitive, social and emotional growth for later success in school. ON CALL SHELTER ASSISTANT

Employment Type: : On-call, Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm and
Saturday-Sunday 9 am 3:30 pm

Summary of Position

Under general supervision of the Pathways Program Manager or Case Manager on duty, the On-Call Shelter Assistant maintains the women’s shelter facility, works with the residents and alerts the Pathways Program Manager or Case Manager to actual or potential problems with the residents as well as provides clerical support as trained.

SUBSTITUTE

AREA SUPERVISOR

Employment Type: F.T.E, Monday through Friday

Summary of Position

Under direction of Assistant Director, ensures the implementation of all service areas for the Head Start and Early Head Start programs; coordinates services for all participant children and families in compliance with ACF Performance Standards, the Service Area Written Plans, and California State Licensing regulations. This position supervises the following program staff: Center Directors, who supervise employees in the Head Start and Early Head Start sites; and Family Outreach Workers; will also supervise the Children’s Services Assistant when assigned responsibility for substitutes. Center Director (formerly Head Teacher)

Employment Type: FULL-TIME

Hours:  8 Hrs/Day, Monday through Friday, 10 or 11 Months/Year

Summary of Position

Under the direction of the Area or Site Supervisor, administer a Head Start center operation guided by Head Start Performance Standards, Service Area Written Plans, Procedures, and Policies and California State Community Care Licensing regulations. Supervises the following staff: Teacher II, Teacher 1, Site Assistant, and if assigned: Language Resource Aide and Full Inclusion Assistant. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Agency’s policies and applicable federal and state laws.

Center Director I: Teaches children 4 days/week. Coordinates work and supervises employees of a one classroom site with up to two sessions.
Center Director II: Teaches children 4 days/week. Coordinates work and supervises employees of a site with more than one classroom.
